Welcome
These terms govern your use of theincometoolkit.com. By using the site, downloading a free resource, joining the newsletter, creating an account, or buying a product, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
We may update these terms occasionally. The latest version will always be on this page with a fresh “last updated” date. Continued use of the site after we update the terms means you accept the new version.
Who we are
The site is operated by Claire Lawrence, a sole trader trading as The Income Toolkit. Our contact email is info@theincometoolkit.com.
Definitions
Site means theincometoolkit.com.
Free resources means the toolkits, worksheets, templates and guides we make available without charge.
Toolkit means a paid digital product sold via the Shop, currently The Business Toolkit, The Finances Toolkit, and The Lifestyle Redesign Toolkit.
Membership means a recurring subscription to the Free, Community, or Community Plus tiers.
You means anyone using the site or buying anything from us.
Accounts
You can create a free account at /register/ to access the resources library and any future free features. You agree to:
- Use your real email address and a strong password.
- Keep your account credentials confidential.
- Not share or transfer your account.
- Tell us immediately if you suspect someone else is using your account.
We may suspend or close any account that is used in breach of these terms.
Free resources
Our free toolkits and worksheets are provided as-is, for your personal and business use. You may use them in your own work and adapt them as needed. You may not:
- Resell or redistribute them, in whole or in part.
- Pass them off as your own work for resale.
- Bulk-share them on file-sharing platforms.
A reasonable amount of sharing with collaborators inside your own business is fine.
Paid toolkits
The Business Toolkit, The Finances Toolkit, and The Lifestyle Redesign Toolkit are digital products. When you buy one:
- Your payment is processed by Stripe under their terms.
- You receive instant access to the download links, plus a confirmation email containing a copy of the links.
- You receive a single-user, lifetime licence to use the toolkit in your own business. You cannot resell, sublicense, or redistribute it.
- You receive any future updates to the toolkit at no additional cost.
Right to cancel for digital downloads
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you normally have the right to cancel a distance contract within fourteen days. For digital content delivered immediately, that right ends as soon as you start the download. By proceeding to checkout, you agree that you want immediate access and you accept that you lose the right to cancel once you begin downloading. We refer to this expressly at checkout. Our refund policy explains when we will still refund you anyway.
Memberships
The Free membership is permanently free. You can leave at any time by closing your account.
Community and Community Plus are paid recurring memberships. By signing up:
- You agree to be billed monthly at the price shown at the point of joining, until you cancel.
- Your card is charged automatically on each renewal date by Stripe.
- You can cancel any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. We do not pro-rate the unused portion of the final month.
We will email you before any price increase, with at least thirty days’ notice. You can cancel before the new price takes effect.
If we have to suspend a membership for breach of these terms, for example abusive behaviour in the community area, no refund is due.
Pricing and tax
Prices on the site are shown in GBP. Where applicable, VAT will be added at checkout based on your billing country.
We may change pricing at any time. Existing members on founding-member pricing keep their original price for as long as their membership is continuous. If you cancel and rejoin, you rejoin at the current price.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
- Reverse engineer or scrape any part of the site.
- Upload any content to the community area that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, infringing, or sexually explicit.
- Attempt to disrupt the site, the membership system, or other users’ accounts.
- Use the site to send spam or unsolicited marketing.
We may remove any content that breaches these rules and suspend the account responsible.
Intellectual property
All site content (text, design, code, images, downloads) is owned by us or licensed to us. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the content as set out above. We retain all other rights.
You keep ownership of content you post in the community area. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce and excerpt your post in the community area and in marketing materials about the community.

Governing law
