Plain summary
We want every product we sell to be worth what you paid for it. This page explains when we will give you a refund and how to ask for one.
Free resources
If you downloaded a free resource, there is nothing to refund. If you have a problem with one, email info@theincometoolkit.com and we will fix it.
Paid toolkits (digital downloads)
When you buy The Business Toolkit, The Finances Toolkit, or The Lifestyle Redesign Toolkit, you agree at checkout that we deliver the files immediately and that the statutory fourteen-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 ends as soon as you begin downloading. This is normal practice for digital content.
In addition to the statutory rules, we offer a fourteen-day refund window on paid toolkits, on these terms:
- We will refund a paid toolkit in full, no questions asked, if you ask within fourteen days of purchase, even if you have already downloaded it.
- After fourteen days, we will refund a toolkit only if it is faulty, not as described, or you have not been able to access the files because of a technical issue on our side.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method, via Stripe, within ten working days. Most clear within three.
Memberships
Community and Community Plus are recurring monthly memberships.
New paid members: you can cancel within fourteen days of your first paid month and we will refund that first month in full. This goes beyond your statutory cooling-off right, which would normally end if you started using the membership benefits during the cooling-off period.
After the first fourteen days: you can cancel any time, but renewals already taken are non-refundable. Your access continues until the end of the current billing month.
We do not pro-rate the unused portion of a billing month.
If we change a membership benefit in a way that materially reduces what you signed up for, we will email you and offer a pro-rata refund of any prepaid period.
Faulty or non-conforming products
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If a paid toolkit fails any of those tests, we will, in this order:
- Try to fix the problem, for example by replacing the file.
- If we cannot fix it within a reasonable time and without causing significant inconvenience, refund you in full.
How to request a refund
Email info@theincometoolkit.com from the address on your order, with:
- Your order number, found in your receipt email.
- A short note about why you are asking for a refund.
You do not need to give a long reason if you are asking within the fourteen-day window. We will reply within two working days and confirm the refund within ten.
Statutory rights
Nothing on this page limits your statutory rights as a consumer in the UK. If anything in this policy conflicts with those rights, your statutory rights take priority.
