From recruitment to a writing agency

I spent more than a decade in recruitment, reading careers from the hiring side. It taught me exactly how fragile the single-employer model is, so I built my own income: a writing agency that served more than 30,000 clients and crossed $2.5M. I ran it first from a laptop in Thailand, then from a campervan across thirteen countries, and now from a house in rural Portugal that the business bought outright.

Then AI arrived

In 2025, AI turned the resume industry upside down and killed the agency I had spent a decade building. I had a choice: wind it down quietly, or start again and show my work.

What I am doing now
